These are intended as a guideline and are in no way a guarantee against injury or death to participants, spectators, or officials. Anything not covered by these specifications should be approved by the track officials and placed in writing.

1. All cars must be constructed to look like Micro Sprints. All cars must be equipped with complete body parts, hoods, tails, side panels, belly pans, etc. All cars must have legible numbers printed on both sides of the tail wing, and nose.

2. Roll cage Min. thickness of 0.065” of (6) hookups. Must be well gusseted. Min. 11/4 inch. O.D. tubing. Must be 4130 Chrome Molly. Complete frame 0.065” min 1 inch tubing may be used if wall thickness is at least 0.083.

3. All steering and suspension points that are bolted together must use locking nuts, safety wire, or cotter pins. The steering mechanism must be constructed of a min 5/8” rods and 3/8 heim ends.

4. Cars must have a firewall to separate the motor compartments and fuel tank from the driver, Min thickness 0.040”.

5. The belly pan must extend from the front of the seat to a point beyond the driver’s feet.

6. All cars must be equipped with nerf bars extending to at least the inside of the tire, but not beyond the outside of the tire.

7. All cars should have left and right side safety bars. Not mandatory, track prefers.

8. All wet cell batteries mounted in the cockpit must be covered and vented out of the cockpit area.

9. Brakes will be sufficient strength so as to slide the wheels in the pits or stop the car while in motion on the track.

10. 5-point racing harness and shoulder harnesses must be in good condition and approved racing type only.

11. Each car must have workable fire extinguisher in pit area.

12. Minimum weight (car and driver) 600 lbs. Wheelbase – 56” min. and 72” max. Car width shall not exceed 59” overall sidewall to sidewall.

13. Top wing shall not exceed 12 sq. ft. Side panel height may not exceed 24” and side panel length may not exceed 56”. Top wing panels cannot extend outside width of tires.

14. All wheels must be race approved, 8 and 10-inch diameter only.  No Carbon Fiber Wheels.

15. Engine specs: any single cylinder 250cc. Full production engine. Max of 271cc permitted with no % over. No forced air induction. Any height compression head is legal. NO HOT FUELS!!

16. Must have a muffler that meets 99 decibal.
