Safety Guideline

Head Gear- Each driver must wear an approved racing helmet with goggles or face shield. A full face helmet is highly recommended but not required. Helmet must be snell 1995 approved.

Firesuit - Each driver must wear a flame retardant uniform. Fireproof gloves are highly recommended. Racing shoes recommended.

Seatbelts - Each driver must have a competition quick release harness with shoulder straps, no more than 5 years old. Drivers must wear harness and have harness fastened while on the track. (Five point harness highly recommended) Hutchins or Hans device recommended but not required. Neck and arm restraints highly recommended

Fire Extinguisher - Each car must furnish their own fire extinguisher. Each extinguisher should be kept fully charged at all times. It is highly recommended that each pit area should have an extinguisher located either within the hauler or in the trailer. It is highly recommended that drivers carry an on board extinguisher as well. Micro Sprints must have a functioning fire extinguisher at trailer, Mod Lites, Sportsman and Compacts must have functioning fire extinguisher in car. Every car is required to have an extinguisher on board or in the pits. Preferably both. All on board fire extinguishers must be properly mounted.

Window Nets - All Compacts must have functional window nets. Window nets for the Mod Lite and Sportsman Divisions are highly recommended.


Anything not covered in these rules should be confirmed with a tech official. All concerns should be checked before completing car. The top 3 finishers in a feature need to report to the tech area immediately following the race unless notified differently at the drivers meeting. Any car that does not pass a safety inspection may not race that night.
